SEEKING WARMTH: Assignment for EARTH CARE

Following their latest survey at the worksites, on January 12, 2011, a plan was drawn immediately by EARTH CARE to supply blankets of sufficiently good quality to the elderly people who needed them urgently. Approximately 80 such persons, aged between fifty five and ninety six years, were identified. Funds were raised almost immediately. By 14th noon, 80 blankets were purchased and were on their way to be distributed to the various worksites. Mr. Ashis Das, the Secretary of EARTH CARE took the lead in the distribution process accompanied by his able  and dedicated co-worker Md. Nizamuddin. I was there documenting. The above photos are taken at the Kashipur colony during the distribution process.
